Doesn't the feminine figure represent water that washes and wind that dries?
Doesn't she embody fire that warms and nature that cradles?
Poets clothe her in metaphor: mother and lover welcoming our souls with open arms.
Artists define her by her essential presence: that which makes each being who they are.
Artists of our time, they are painters, photographers, sculptors, visual artists. They discover other cultures and dream of new spaces. In one way or another, the figure of woman is embodied in their creations.

The exhibition "Being Thus" brings together renowned international artists around an original theme. By inviting artists to express what woman represents in their respective worlds, the ambition of the "Being Thus" exhibition is to unite, through art, cultural singularities and similarities.

The feminine figure is embodied in their creations, and in turn, in our thoughts. For this symbol, both figurative and abstract, nourishes the realities, myths, and beliefs of all cultures and brings us closer than we imagine.

They express themselves through painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and video. And woman, through her very being, thus embodies the freedom of tomorrow.
